After pickup from your Vancouver Downtown hotel, board a luxury car or coach equipped with free Wi-Fi access and set out on a 13-hour tour of exploring the city of Victoria and Butchart Gardens with your private guide.
Relax while we drive the approximate 50 minutes to the ferry terminal, which is located almost on the Canada/US border. Our cruise between the scenic Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia will take about an hour and a half before we arrive at Vancouver Island.
Arrive in our charming capital, Victoria and see how “British” Victoria is. We are going to spend some time walking along the Inner Harbor, admire the views of the over 100-year-old Fairmont hotel and the BC Parliament Building, which is open to the public on week-days. Have some spare time for lunch in a restaurant with a scenic view of Vancouver Island landscape.
Enjoy a drive along the coastline with the Cascade Mountains in the background. We will stop at some scenic points and have a chance to watch playful seals begging for fish. These cute (but still wild) animals will make you want to stay even longer by spinning around themselves. Don’t be surprised if you see a deer or rabbit along the road either.
The world famous Butchart Gardens are simply a must see in Victoria and will definitely be a highlight of this eventful day. Take a stroll through dazzling Sunken, Rose, Japanese, Mediterranean and Italian gardens. After you are completely taken by the smells of flowers and have indulged your senses, we will start our way back to Swartz Bay terminal in Victoria and journey back to your hotel in Vancouver.
