Day 1: Arrive Calgary

Day 2: Calgary – Johnston Canyon – Lake Minnewanka 

Stop At: Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Meet up at the hotel then head to Banff National Park. Banff National Park is Canada’s first national park, and is a destination on innumerous people’s bucket lists from all around the world. It was built in 1885 and is located in the northern part of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada.

Stop At: Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Banff National Park’s most popular hiking destination takes you into the Johnston canyon and amongst spectacular waterfalls. See the impressive lower falls and walk through a tunnel to get an even closer look at the powerful effects of water. Enjoy Ice Walk (Rivet shoes are provided ), the free hot chocolate drink is prepared to warm you up. (tour time: 90 minutes)

The small town of Banff, known as the ”Little Switzerland of North America”, is bathed in the warm winter sun. [Self-guided tour of the Town of Banff] (Visit time: 90 minutes), discover the winter fun here. The small town is a distribution center for all kinds of outdoor sports. You can find all kinds of outdoor sports equipment and clothing here, with good quality and low prices. Or hold a cup of warm hot chocolate in your hand. Sit lazily in a coffee bar and enjoy a warm spa.

[Lake Minnewanka] During winter, when water freezes and the bacteria feed expel methane gas, you may see the magical phenomena of icy bubbles at Lake Minnewanka. We will pass by Two Jack Lake on the way.

Day 3: Ski Lake Louise Resort – Lake Louise 

Stop At: Lake Louise Ski Resort, 1 Whitehorn Rd, Lake Louise, AB T0L 1E0, Canada
Many say that Canada only has two seasons - ”winter” and “approximately winter”. Winter is an alarm clock that wakes up Canadians. People here don’t stay in the warmth of their homes. Winter sports such as curling, ice hockey, and skiing have become Canadians’ favorites. Ski Lake Louise Resort is one of the top three ski resorts in Banff National Park. The hospitality is waiting for you to explore. You can choose the Ski Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola or Winter Snow Tube (Additional Fee) to experience an authentic Canadian winter!

After leaving Ski Lake Louise Resort, we return to Lake Louise Village. In the afternoon, look for another fairy tale secret in the Rocky Mountains: the snow-white [Lake Louise] (tour time: 150 minutes), backed by [Victoria Glacier]. From January to April, the grand [Ice Sculpture Art Festival, Ice Magic] takes place here. Artists and ice sculpture lovers from all over the world gather here to build a beautiful fairy tale world. The [Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise], located on the shore of the lake, is like a painting, with snow-capped mountains and ice lakes accompanying it. Go [Snow Shoeing (borrow snowshoes for free)] (this activity depends on the weather and the icing conditions of the lake), and step in the soft snow. Day 4: Banff Gondola – Vermillion Lakes – Surprise Corner – Bow Falls – Fairmont Banff Springs – Calgary

Stop At: Sulphur Mountain, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Head to [Sulphur Mountain] (Tour time:60 minutes) and choose to ride the [Banff Gondola(additional fee)] . At the moment you reach the peak of the mountain, it seems that a fascinating picture has unfolded. [Rundle Mountain] is one of the top ten famous mountains in Banff National Park. The huge, faulted mountain body of limestone, and its beautifully crafted section on the west side becomes the most handsome backdrop in the Town of Banff. The best place to see this majestic mountain is from Vermilion Lakes (visit time: 30 minutes). The sulfur hot springs by Sulphur Mountain have changed the color of the riverbed to cinnamon brown. The banks are swampy, and the slimy mud exudes the smell of sulfurous natural gas. Here, if you look up, the majestic Rundle Mountain presents you with a completely different scenery.

Stop At: Surprise Corner, Buffalo St, Banff, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Follow the small-town trail to Surprise Corner (tour time: 15 minutes). Stop at the corner, and you will be pleasantly surprised to find that a majestic “Scottish castle” stands above the Bow River Valley, which is a world heritage site, “Fairmont Banff Springs” hotel. The beautiful castled nestled in lush forest makes you feel you have entered a fairytale.
