Why choose this British Columbia tour ?
During the summer months the alpine wildflowers are in bloom. The multitude of colors are spectacular! You may even see a moose or black bear while indulging your taste buds at the Chocolate Moose Cafe.
There are numerous hiking trails to enjoy, the most popular is the Cameron Ridge Trail up to Nora’s Knob, overlooking the North Arm of Quesnel Lake.
The Meadows in the Sky trail takes you up into some beautiful alpine meadows. Explore Betty Frank’s old trap line cabin. She was one of the original outfitters in the area during the 70’s and 80’s.
Want to see some Grizzly Bears? Hike through the old growth forest of fir, cedar and hemlock, with the sound of silence surrounding you. Then suddenly there you are looking at an avalanche chute with multiple spring flowers, cow parsnips and mountain ash scattered down the slope. Sit quietly under an enormous cedar tree with just your thoughts. At any moment a Grizzly a Black Bear or even a Cariboo may step out!
